Hosting & Cloud

Many of the systems we develop are delivered over the web, and whilst it is not our core business we can offer hosting if required.

UK based data centre

We rent our dedicated servers from Ionos and these are based in UK data centres. The servers are completely managed by Infoworks and our hardware maintenance company Acamology Ltd. Cloud backup solutions are in place to ensure that databases and sites are backed up on a regular basis. More importanly, these backups are regularly checked for consistency and files restored to ensure that when they are needed in anger they will work as expected.

Auxiliary services can be managed by Infoworks, such as domain registration and the purchase of SSL certificates to protect your sites and data.

Cloud

Simply put, cloud computing is the delivery of computing services – including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics and intelligence – over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources and economies of scale. Typically, you only pay for cloud services you use, helping you lower your operating costs, run your infrastructure more efficiently and scale as your business needs change.
